Budget places in high season

Post by obsessedmuch »

...I know I probably just typed an oxymoron there, but I'd still like some suggestions.

Does anyone have suggestions on a place to stay for two gals, non-high-maintenance, no pool needed for a week in the Winter around $1000/week? I am thinking of certain dates (non-holiday) and I've already looked into a couple places but I don't want to jinx it. If it's close to a couple beaches or Cruz Bay that would be nice as renting a car for only part of the time would be ideal. (I.E. We want to be very lazy.)

I know it's hard to stay in that price range in high season but because I am obsessed (and also nuts) I am actually considering a couple trips next year and to accomodate that, one must mind the budget. At least this one, anyway. :)

Thanks, all!

You may want to ask about "Chez Suzanne" at Gallows Point..She offers a 15% owners discount..came to $289 a night..Not sure if that is more than you wanted to spend but we were there in May and loved it.

Hey WWWT! ;) Good to "see" you here! I have been away for a bit.

Must haves aren't much, I guess. Clean & safe for two gals. Besides the cost, we're really not worried about too much.

Looks like Crow's Nest (right in Wharfside Village) is pretty close to your price range.

Also, if you want to go twice next year, consider the next Six On The Beach getaway. We may have so many gals that want to join in that we can easily afford one of those "Jorge mansions". Of course we'll have to come up with a new name, but who wants the same old koozie.

If you do the math, for example, 12,000. divided by 12 babes = 1000. each. Sweeeeeeet!!

Hi Donna. I think I talked to you about this place previously and when I contacted the owner for my upcoming Nov. trip she told me she had just sold her unit.

We love Cruz views for the price it's hard to beat. Condos are clean, well maintained, grounds are pretty, nice views of Cruz Bay and a great little pool. Check it out.

The monster is by you on the side of the hill but it didn't bother us we were always at the beach while construction was going on about 8am till 5pm.
