If you could do only one thing on St John....

Post by Xislandgirl »

What would it be?
Imagine that you can only do one thing, just one, what would it be?

I am trying to make a list of things for my first timer friends.

Thanks

wow that's so hard but at this very moment I wish I could wake up tomorrow and head out to Honeymoon Beach. So I guess that's my vote.
Ask me again in 5 minutes :)

Hmmm, only one thing? <censored>! I know the first thing we plan on island is spending our first full day at Francis Bay.

Ummm...move there?

Just kidding!

My choice for a first timer would be a day at Francis Bay. The water is calm, there is good shade, there are picnic tables for storage of gear, it's not crowded, you can park close to the beach entrance, and we usually see turtles and rays there while snorkeling.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

So, can I say that cliche, "great minds think alike?" :D

I am definately mentally there right now. Christine was hollering from the other room reading from newsofstjohn.com while I was reading to her Ruth's post on the Cooper/Chesney pairing. From the action on the forum today, I'm not the only obsessive!

See you on Francis Bay Sunday November 19th!

Float motionlessly enjoying the rocking of the waves near Waterlemon Cay and watch all the shy fishes & maybe a turtle come out of their hidey holes to join me.

My vote is for Gibney Beach – quiet, shady, very few people.

Hang out on one of the beaches at Hansen Bay out on the East End.

I think the drive out there (an experience itself), the isolation and the snorkeling makes the perfect St John day.

Be even better if you caught Vie's on an "open" day :).

I'm going to stop in and thank Ruth at St. John Spice for sponsoring that web cam that helps me in my "countdown".
