Well, I still have not opened that bottle of St. Germaine but there is a good chance it is getting cracked soon. My group of summer St. John travelers are on Cape Cod together for the next three weekends and I think a wine cocktail with St. Germaine could be just the ticket for the grownups. Will keep you posted.
In the meantime, here is a drink I made for John and my brother in law last night. It is called Ocean Mist. For two drinks, shake 4 ounces tequila, 1.5 ounces apricot liqueur, 1/2 ounce lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and an egg white over ice in a cocktail shaker until very cold. Pour 1 tsp. curaƧao in each cocktail glass and strain drink into each, dividing evenly. Garnish with a lemon rind.
I did not taste it, but both John and Sean said it was delicious, and strong
