Taxis on St John
Will the taxi drivers go from Cruz Bay to Rendevous Bay (or other outlying areas) late at night? W e may rent a house and the younger ones may be drinking in Cruz Bay late. Anyone know what the fare would be? I seem to remember that the taxis wouldn't go to Maho Bay. Thanks.

It can be hard late at night but you can find them. I am not sure of the fare.
I would suggest that they find a taxi earlier in the evening and ask, I know that there are a few late night guys and they will probably be happy to hang around. I would not assume that there will be someone, so have them check in before the evening gets away from them.

I would say x hit it right. I would find a cab driver and make a deal with him or her. We did this the year before last while traveling with a large group. We arrainged several times for him to drop us off somewhere and pick us up at a given time later. We did this both for beach trips and going out at night. Tip them well and make it worth their while and it should be fine.
