Ruth...look up!

I promise some ex-goth photos in the future...but my scanner is not hooked up right now, and the men that help me with technical things are...otherwise occupied. :P

BTW, I was a happy goth. I had doc maartens, but my shoe stitching was not yellow, it was rainbow! :D

Oh, now I see. I didn't update. That is a heck of a story.
And I also hear clapping from the other room now, which is good. I peeked in for the score a few minutes ago and NO WAY was I going back in there until something improved. Yikes.

Gotta love the 70's - Prince Valiants for the girls and perms for the guys. This is me and Mr. Z (aka Mr. Kotter) finally leaving our wedding reception in 1976 (Vinnie Barbarino was best man and Horshak, Epstein and Freddie Boom-Boom Washington were groomsmen (I don't think Paul ever lived down that fro-perm, poor guy  )

Image

and me and my posse in our favorite spot - holding up the bar, and posing in front of the stylin' guy with the polyester plaids and white shoes (in October??). Check out that carpeting...

Can't beat the squad car arrival, that was a classic - thank heavens the cops were not out rolling drunks in that buggy just prior to picking you up! We did take the entire wedding party and all of the decorated cars through the drive through at Jack-in-the-Box, but that was pretty tame in comparison  .

Linne-
I remember BB well, she was such a glamorous movie star. I am probably much older than you. Tomorrow I will search for a photo of me in my poodle skirt!

Please, could someone explain me, what a ”goth” is. When I see in my dictionary it’s something like a barbarian or a vandal, but I cannot understand that liamsaunt should have been that, even though she was brought to her wedding in a police car!

Verjoy, glad that someone can understand, why Brigitte Bardot was my ideal. About age, in my TR from Botswana you can see that I turned 60 at that vacation. Not sooo many years ago!

California Girl, you are just such a nice bride, and it’s a lovely dress. And KYgirl, no I don’t think your wedding dress is oversized. You can wear it! Seanile, I cannot understand if you don’t like the short hair. I think you look so pretty in the pic! Like Ruth! And so funny to see the hits in 1977. Like Cypressgirl I remember – and still hear- many of them. We have the DVD with Eagles and Hotel California. One of my favourites. Oh, I really find this topic funny!

Hi Linne

Goth is a look where the girls black lipstick and their skin is as white as possible they will have on black clothes

Ho Ho Ho He He He, liamsaunt as a vandal. I like it. Almost as bad as a Viking.

Linne - I remember Bridget Bardot! I loved her too, and I remember that dress, as well! You look the same as when you were a little ballerina! That's such a darling picture!

OK, so a goth is an black and white person! I'm looking forward to see some pictures.

CG thank you for your compliment. But I'm sure that the only thing today, which can be compared with my childhood pic, is the colour of my hair. :D
So now we are three persons here who remember BB!
