not looking good

Post by designbyroe »

As many of you know I lived on STJ for 2 yrs.
I have been trying to get back since Sept 2005.
This would be my 3rd attempt and it is not looking good.
I was in the hospital a few weeks back and then not even 24 hrs later someone slammed into the back of my car when I was stopped.
I teach exercise and the damage to my neck has caused me much grief as in lost wages.
We are doing an MRI next week to see what is up

I was shooting to go to see Ivan on March 8 and my friends on island. It does not look good, Yet again I think I will need to change my ticket.
So it looks like I will be living vicariously through you all for a while.
I am supposed to go in Nov with Lulu and others so hopefully that will work.
Keep those trip reports coming and pics to.
Please if you get to Quiet Mon or Jost tell Kenny and Ivan Rosi says hi and loves them.......
This is not going to be an easy call to make to Ivan this time............. :(

Well that just completely sucks! Im very sorry you are not feeling well and that you will have to postpone the trip. Get lots of rest, and get well soon. November is not THAT far off...so look forward to that trip.

Oh no! I was so hoping to meet you at Ivan's!

Take care and let me know if things change. If not, I'll definitely say "hi" to Ivan for you...

I had a 5 year old gap in between leaving and going back. The people don't change much and either does their memory of you, so no worries.

I think that life in general, no matter where you live on island or stateside, gets in the way of things sometimes. I would love to move back, but it is just not in the plan right now. Maybe someday. Until then I save my $ every chance I get and get back when I can.

Ugh, good luck. Pain is such a downer and limited mobility just makes it worse. Get well soon!
