Daily trip to Jost

Post by b-as-u-r »

Is there a daily ferry service to Jost from STJ. We'd like to go for the day and maybe stay for dinner. We've done the private boat trip over in the past, stopping for snorkeling, etc., which was a lot of fun, but I'd prefer to spend more time on Jost this time around.

Dinner on Jost means spending the night in the BVIs

You cannot get through customs after 5 or 6 o'clock. So, coming back to the USVIs after dinner won't work. The last ferry from Jost to Tortola is 5PM. Water Taxis are an option between Jost and Tortola after 5. During the season the ferry sometimes does a late run.

If you REALLY want to do this then an overnight sail charter is a great option. Otherwise, enjoy the day on JVD or spend a couple of nights there.
