not sure what your price range is but take a look at White Barn Inn Kennebunkport, Me. It has always been fantastic and has many different room options.

Also in the same area Cape Arundel Inn is very nice but may not have all the room features you want. But breakfast is included and dinners there are fabulous.

Captain Lord Mansion is great but no dinner there.

We like the Doveberry Inn in West Dover, Vermont (Mount Snow area). The rooms are cozy and I believe some have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs.

The chef is absolutely amazing - breakfast is included in the rate; dinner is available.

It's been a few years, but we loved the Windham Hill Inn, in Townsend VT. They serve breakfast and dinner and have won a Wine Spectator award this year. We stayed in the Meadowlook Room, with had a Kohler soaking tub and a fireplace. Sublime!
