Bayer, you just made think of something. What's this 9/10 thing on gas prices? I've ALWAYS wondered about that! Why not just price it so it's an even number, like $2.42 a gallon instead of $2.419 :?:

It's the same thing as pricing something at $99.99 instead of $100.00. I guess it's a mental thing? You might say "Oh, it's only $99!"?? - duh! Whatever.

California Girl, you should hear my husband on that one. If the sign says $2.419, I'll call it $2.41, knowing full well that it's actually basically a penny more. Every time he corrects me with, "No, it's $2.42." It's become a weird joke with us.

2.50ish around here. Been riding the bike too work and haven't ridden anywhere else and filled up Sept 15. Just hit reserve Thursday and filled her up for a grand total of $7. Only drive 10 miles round trip but what a deal for over a month of getting to work. Getting pretty cold in the morning though. Gawd I'm such a cheap a$$

In my neck of So. Cal. the cheapest I've seen it this week is $3.03. I paid $3.07 on Monday, so it's dropping pretty fast.

It's still around $2.43 here, but I hear it is under two bucks between here and Atlanta, which will be nice for my trip on Friday!

My husband saw $1.87 in our town today. It was an Apco station-you have to pay cash but they pump it for you. What a deal! :D
