Off to Cabo! - I'm back! :)
Ok kids! I'm off to Los Cabos in the morning and will be home on Saturday. Play nice while I'm gone and if you're all very very good, I'll do a mini trip report with pictures when I get back!

Heres a photo of a photo taken 20 yrs ago (!) watching the sunset from the Hotel Solmar beach in Cabo.

That hotel was right on the tip of the Baja - the famous Cabo arch is around those rocks in the background. The sun rose just to the right of those rocks and set behind me/the photographer. Not too many beaches where you can see both a sunrise and sunset from.
20 yrs ago Cabo had few resorts and chickens still running around in the streets. There was slim pickings in terms of decent restaurants. We were there at the end of Jan. and the whales were migrating past. Even had trouble finding a bar that was carrying the Super Bowl even though it was being played only 800 miles away in San Diego that year.

When we come to place where the sea and the sky collide
Throw me over the edge and let my spirit glide

Anthony for Virgin Islands On Line
Hi! I'm baaack! I had an absolutely amazing time and I can't wait to get my trip report and pictures online!
I do have a couple of pitures I can post now, though! I did the zip line and didn't realize we'd have the opportunity to rappel down a 180 ft. cliff! Cliffs have always scared me, but I felt so safe the way they rigged us up, that over I went! It was fantastic and I wanted to do it again! But we could only go once. The zip lines however, went back and forth across the canyon about 7 times! Ultimate fun!
I'll try to get my report & pix online in the next week. And Anthony, I'll be happy to also post it on the Mexico forum!
