Any iTunes experts around here?

Post by mbw1024 »

Here's my problem... I have all my Christmas music in a play list but the songs are unchecked because I don't want them updating to my iPod. Now I need to check them all so I can play them through my computer to AirTunes or whatever that is called. Is there any way to check the entire play list at the same time or do I have to check each individual tune? There are a LOT of them :)

I don't have iTunes on the computer I'm on, but I'm thinking there is a Select All under Edit or View?

there is. I can select all but then there's not a "check all" to follow that with. the select all only highlights the songs - I want to put that little check mark next to all of them.
I fear my answer is revealing itself! I better get checking!

I think you have to set your iPod to not automatically update every time you synch it. I had several copies of every song on there before I learned that lesson.

As far as playlists that are on the computer, mine have never automatically synched. I've always had to drag them to the iPod icon.

You can select all and then "check selection" and it will check all selected.
A mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open.

OMG thank you! I have to right click on my selections and THERE is an option to check all. You are my hero :)
Thanks!

You can also hold down the CTRL key and check the first one and the rest will also be selected. :)
