I stayed at the Conrad near the causeway last August while there on business, it's really nice, I think it's a Doubletree as I recall.....great pool, not much beach. But, by all means, definitely plan to check out Old San Juan and the fort El Morro, it's magnificent. We lived in Germany for two year...

I guess I'd take the mud though rather than the cold! I grew up in the north, skiing all my life, but as I get older the cold really sucks.....

north shore on STJ should pick up some real high waves starting by noon today. There will be 8' swells arriving at Cane Garden Bay late morning.
