We judt rented a dinghy from Noah's Little Arks last weekend for 1/2 day and had a great time. We didn't have any kids with us, but it was easy all around. They will explain how everything works and where you can and cannot go. With small kids, I would definately beach the dinghy as it can be tough ...

We're the ones who went off John's Head! The driver didn't have alot of St. John driving experience though. I would definately stay at a villa there again, the views are worth it...and my husband is a good driver. Don't know if I could get my daughters to stay up there again though, they weren't too...

We used it at the end of the day, but you could use it anytime I suppose. We tend to spend the whole day in the water, so it's more effective at the end. It is nice and compact so it's easy to travel with. http://www.leisurepro.com/Catalog.aspx?Op=dtSearch is one of the websites I found it on. Altho...

ears!
Both my husband and daughter have problems with their ears and water. They use ear plugs and auro drops to dry them. We also invested in a little ear dryer for our last trip to St. John. It is like a little hair dryer that blows for 80 seconds ( I think) and then you can run it again if they are not...

We stayed at La Jolla Caribe in January with our three grown children and a friend. We loved it and would stay again. Last year we stayed at Ciellodonna in Chocolate Hole with three other couples. If we were traveling with three couples, we would probably pick another villa in Catherineburg only bec...

We have used Dohm's and Christopher's both years that we have gone to St. John. Dohm's has always been great, on time, service great. The first year Christopher's was great. Right there at the airport, clean van, very personable, went above and beyond service wise. When I booked our January trip in ...

We have rented from Island Getaways and Destination St. John in the past. Island Getaways uses Caribbean Villas for their local contact. Island Getaways did charge the service fee. We had a problem with our stove burners not working on our first trip and it was never resolved by Caribbean Villas alt...

Also, they are building a villa right below Hakuna Matata (the next house down the hill towards Cinnamon) It wasn't too noisy, but there were alot of bigger trucks on the road that we had to work around in our travels. It should be done by december though.....Look at Bongo Bongo! http://i139.photobu...

Hakuna Matata was right below us off John Head Road. We didn't see it (except from our deck) but the pics look wonderful. The road is the one we got hung up on, but if we were to stay on that road again, I would get a smaller car. They are building a villa right below H.M. and so the road is actuall...

Both years we have emptied the freezer, turned it as low as it would go, put the steaks etc. on press-n-seal and left to freeze for approximately 12 hours. We then remove from freezer, completely seal in press-n-seal and then place in zip lock bag. Return to freezer and keep there until you are leav...

Well, Ive downloaded some pictures to photobucket and I'm going to try to post them with this report. Day 4- We got up and decided to go to Cinnamon. We hadn't visited Cinnamon last trip and found it was really a great beach. You have to get there relatively early though to get a parking spot! We se...

Thanks Jost, I'm going to try that and once I get it down, I'll post my next report. Sorry to depress everyone about the goats, but if even one person is more careful, it's worth it. Not that most people would be that careless and cruel anyway. I'm going to play with my photos and try to post them. ...
