Guess who I talked to today??

Rachel!

She called to wish me and all the good people on the forum a happy holiday!

She wanted me to thank everyone for all the business this past year. It has allowed her to take good care of Mr G., as his health is declining and she can not be out on the street all day looking for fares.

It was a lovely surprise and it made my day.

that's really nice.

Quick question though. I want to call her for our trip in February. When I call her, how do you think I should introduce myself? "Hi - this is Tami and I got your number from the internet forum"?

You can just tell her that Dominica told you to call and I would call sooner rather than later as February is a busy time.

Due to many recommendations on this forum, I reserved her back in May for our group. What a sweetheart! I'm definitely on the "recommend Rachel" bandwagon!

I called her yesterday xislandgirl, I forgot your name other than your screen name but she knew who I was talking about. She seems really nice and I can't wait to meet her a week from Friday!

It really was. I was at work, not wanting to be here and my cell phone rang with an unknown number. I wasn't sure if I should answer it, but I didn't want to work so I thought it was a good way to waste time.
I had no idea it would be her. It was a wonderful surprise!

I didn't get to meet Rachel but she sent her brother Ira (I think) to fetch us and he was very sweet! I am glad to see such a great person doing so well as a result of some positive reviews here.
