Okay, a revised plan.
Until Bug gets here with the BB gun, I will sit in the back yard with a sock monkey hanging from my neck and whisper "Go to Joshie's yard".
Thank you all for your advice in this matter.

Ruth
someone told me to catch chickens, you feed them rum soaked bits of bread bread. The chicken will be drunk enough he can be caught, then you can take it over to Joshie's! But try Cabela's to order a bb gun. My neighbor did. I really like that neighbor now.

Aha! Thank you Puddlejumper. That could work.

As far as taking them to Joshie's, that won't work. The chickens that came from his place do not want to go back and refuse to tell me where he lives. Their feathers are a little ruffled because they are apparently the only birds he doesn't appear to like. (They called him "That Crazy Bird Guy.")

Ruth, I would be happy to mail you some assorted KFC wrappers & bags to put in the yard.

That should do it

This got me thinking-St John could use a new restaurant--Ruth, maybe you should see if they will let you get a franchise.

anyone remember this?

Wakey,

All I can say is that is a very disturbing picture.
