Best Painkiller

Post by stjohnnewbie »

What's your favorite place for a Painkiller?

My favorite one by far was from, of all places, the airport bar. Never had another one quite as good! Maybe it was just that it was the first one, but I have to say one of the things I am looking forward to most on this trip is heading straight to that airport bar for a Painkiller. Extra large if they have it. :)

My personal favorite is the Mango Painkiller at Soggy Dollar on Jost. On St. John, I think the Beach Bar's are pretty good, and Skinny's too.

Now I'm going to have to try one at the airport bar. My favorite is the original at Soggy Dollar Bar.

I do like the Mango one at Skinny Legs as the runner up!

SDB!

And on STJ, Beach Bar, IMHO. I like Woody's too- esp during happy hour

But for DFW forumites, the best painkillers are going to be the ones I bring to the gathering tomorrow night!!

My vote is for Woody's.
I know it's a contradiction to folks that know me on the forum, because it's not my favorite bar on island.
I'm feeling my age,- if it's too loud, I'm too old...- that, and I work behind a bar as a "career", so I tend to lay low, if possible.
But we make it a point to have our first Painkillers there.
Woody's is great, but I'm just not into worrying about the traffic in the street with tourists (like me) driving around bewildered by the fun experiences as they unravel...
Love Mic's at Soggy Dollar, too.
How couldn't you?!?
Woody's gets my vote- unless you're stopping by our villa in May, then I'll light you up a groovy one, too... 8)

On catamaran Calypso to and from Jost. On dry land, I have to go with SDB. :D

The good folks a Megans Bay Bar make a great one! Also you can order yours with 1, 2, or 3 shots at Marina Cay. Can't go wrong there!

I'm surprised no one has said it yet, but my favorite painkiller is always the next one.

My favorite was at Pusser's both at Soper's Hole & Marina Cay. It's the rum. I'm a huge fan of Pussers now.

Well played, young Miss.
I LOVE PUSSER'S. Just kinda' $ up here in Jersey...
Hope to visit Soper's & Marina Cay too, one day.
Great idea though; grab a bottle or three, "duty-free" for the hacienda in a few weeks on STJ.
