Calling out for prayers again.
Calling out for prayers again.
My great neice Shannon, who was born 3 mos premature is going to be 2 this month.
She is now down at John Hopkins with a team of doctors who are trying to figure out what is wrong. She has been in and out of the hospital her whole life.
She is just a beautiful girl, but she has been on a feeding tube soon after she was born. She has not had any solid food. Also, even being on a feeding tube, she has been throwing up about 15-20 times a day. She cannot sit up on her own and is deteriorating daily.
I'm really worried about her as is our whole family. She's a twin and her sister Maggie is thriving.
Could everybody that reads this take a minute to say a prayer that the doctors can help her?
Here is Shannon:

Shannon is home now and I just talked to her Mom. Shannon is unbelievable for what she has been through.
She still has a feeding tube in her stomach, but they found out she has some kind of urine infection, so she is now on a bag, so that's 2 tubes.
She's smiling and being so good about it.
Whenever I see Shannon and Maggie, I go right to Shannon and she smiles and has these huge blue eyes. She seems to know what you're talking about, but she's not talking back. She watches her sister and brother playing around.
I hope in years to come that she's able to walk and talk and recover.
Thanks to all for your prayers, please keep her in mind.
