Longest Countdown

Post by Rob7 »

I'm probably the person on this forum with the longest countdown. Just took care of the airline reservations today and the villa is all set...so now all there is to do is wait 315 days....YIKES
with all you people with less then 100 days, I hope someone feels sorry for me :D

Oh, I always book the villa first. Spring break week we need to book a year in advance.

59 days for me! :D But I remember when it was 350-something, so I feel your pain. You too will be down to 59 days before you know it, and by then, my trip will just be a memory. 8)

It's all relative

I started out around there, if not more. It goes by .. not fast but it goes by. Need to plan some things in between to keep your mind occupied.

Which villa?

Like CA Girl – we were at 350+ days when we started. Also like her, we’re at 59 days. Think if it like running down a mountain – it starts off real slow, but soon your at 200 days and things are getting faster – next is 100 days and the excitement builds – next your at 59 days and still have those frick’en 15 pounds to loose. You’ll get there.

The worst part about counting down the days is that next thing you know you are already home and counting down the days till your NEXT trip :?

73 days for us. I am jealous of you guys heading down so soon! I wish I was there, it feels about a bajillion degrees below zero here and I think the wind sheared off half my face in Copley Square while I was walking to work.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
