Sorta new here

Post by Muhaha »

Hey all,

I'm sort of new here, been a long time lurker. Anyways, coming out of hiding to announce that my trip is in 10 short days! Taking the family (wife + 4 kids) and so much looking forward to trip.

Anyways wanted to drop a quick note, mainly to thank everyone for their advice dispensed in various threads. Thanks to this forum, I feel like I have completed a St John 101 course over the past 5 months since booking the trip.

Well! It's about time that you came out of the closet. Welcome to the forum, and have a great trip. Where are you all staying?

Hi Muhaha~

Looks like our families may be island at the same time! How old are your kids? We have a son turning 13 the day we arrive and a daughter 10 1/2.

Safe travels and hope to hear from you!

STJ soon! :D

Sunnyledge is a great house. You'll enjoy it and I'm sure you'll spend a lot of time on Frances and Maho. Since you're right next door to Maho Campground your kids might like to participate in some of their activities. I know you'll have a wonderful time and will soon be planning your next trip to what we affectionately call "the rock".

Welcome. And please give us a trip report and pictures. That is one of the best parts of this forum, sharing our experiences. I hope you have a great trip!

By in large, I'm a lurker also. We will be there about the same time as you and your family. However, we thought we'd come down without the kids, just to make sure its OK. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge!!)

That's certainly one of the tangible benefits of hanging around here.

Now comes the fun part - seeing those places that you've only seen in your head and in pictures come to life!

Have a great trip!
