stinging plankton & sargassum

What's the status of the stinging plankton and sargassum that was a hot topic a few months ago? Has this subsided?

I've been here for a week now and I haven't felt a bite and haven't seen a weed...

All good out sailing on De Life. Only small patches of sargassum.
